Dermatology Consultants is the largest dermatology practice in central Virginia, with 70 years of successful operation. Our practice consists of seven general dermatology providers (4 MD and 3 PA) and one ACMS Mohs surgeon. We are a privately held practice, solely physician owned with no involvement from private equity. Our company culture is one of excellence in patient care, kindness to every patient and team member, and genuine concern for the community we live in.
Company History
Dermatology Consultants was founded in Lynchburg in 1953 by Dr.'s Claire & Charles Whitmore. The practice has grown over the past seven decades into the largest patient volume general dermatology practice in Central Virginia, helping nearly 30,000 patients each year.
